hi everyone..theres a 5speed iroc donor car on the comp for sale for 900(no pics)...but i was woundering if i can swap from an 85 iroc to to a 89 firebird both V8s.....now the problem is that the clutch does not dissengage?...what has failed?..the slave cyclider ETC...im not great with standerd trannys thx bill

 

yes, all the trans parts will bolt into a bird no problems, the shifter plate on the console will not swap betweena maro and a bird.

if the clutch will not disengage, it could be the clutch master cylinder, the slave, maybe the pushrod fell out, the fork broke ect.

 

do you think it is worth to buy for 900(i could proli get it cheaper)....to swap over..but somthing is messed up already..hmmm...but i could get alot out of it..

 

$900 sounds high for a parts car. I would talk them way down. I bought a complete '84 Trans Am 305/T5 parts car from a salvage yard for less than half what they're asking for that IROC.
