Removing catalytic converter...Need help now!!!

Anybody have any good ideas on how to remove a catalytic converter? I have taken off all the bolts but the thing is stuck to the y-pipe. Thanks.

Sorry, just realized I wasnt in the exhaust forum.

I just got it off, and a screwdriver was one of the few things I used. Also used a torch, hacksaw, hammer and my foot kicking it like crazy. Ended up bending up my y-pipe from the screwdriver. I have another question though. I did replace the cat instead of gutting it or replacing it with a pipe and I wanted to know what would happen, if anything, if I dont hook up the air tube to the cat. I wasnt able to hook it back up. I dont have emissions tests though so should I plug it?
