Tranny Swap!!! 700r4 to Turbo 350? 400?
I blew my 700r4 apart (for the second time! POS!!!) and was wondering about the possibility of swiching it with either the turbo 350 or the 400. Are either a direct bolt-on and if not is their a kit and will there be any major porblems? What's it all gonna put me out? I need help quick cause I have to have the car running in about 2 weeks!
th350 with longer tail shaft (9" i think) and b&m part # 30299 will fall right in.

The 9 inch shaft is what you need, but they are sometimes difficult to find. The more common 6 inch tailshaft will work with a longer driveshaft. You can still find those th200c driveshafts in the junkyards. I have one in my garage somewhere that I should do something with.

Ok well where will I might be able to find the 350 with a 9" tailshaft? Any guesses? And how much are we talking for that B&M part? One more thing... 82camaro, If I have to, is that driveshaft in good shape and how for how much would you part with it for?
