need shift kit info

I want to put either a B&M kit or somehting simlilar in my 700R4. I haven't done one of these in over 25 yrs. Do they make a big difference if shift firmness? I raced MOPARS for many years but have never torn into a GM trans.. I read a lot of letters on here about problems after installation, due to mistakes made installing it. Are the instructions easy to follow? Which brand kit would any of you recommend?

'92 Firebird T-Tops, 305 w/ 670cfm throttle body, open air cleaner, 9"x3" k&n filter, Dynomax super turbo muffler and 2 1/2 inch pipes cat back.

I would use the Trans-Go Performance Shift kit, along with the Corvette servo, .500 main boost valve, .296 intermediate/reverse boost valve to obtain the best shifts possible in normal drive mode or if you manually shift it. Trans-Go is the only kit that addresses the problems in the 700R4's. If you have any questions you can post it or call me at 800 7763288 Mon-Sat 10-6 PST.
Hope This Helps!!!
