TRANNY SLIPPING, PLEASE HELP!

Driving to work this morning, my car started reving real high and not shifting right. Does this mean my tranny is shot or just the torgue converter. It still shifts into drive and rev. amd rev still works fine. I checked to tranny fluid in the parking lot and the level was OK but there was bubbles on the dipstick.

please advise,
Thanks,
Jason

By "level OK", do you mean "between the full and add marks", or "there was plenty of fluid in there"?

The bubbles sound suspecious. That usually means overfilled. How did the fluid smell? What color was it? Has the tranny been serviced recently?
