9-inch Ford brackets for 1988 Camaro?
9-inch Ford brackets for 1988 Camaro?
I'm building a 1988 Camaro for use in driver's education events on road courses. The rearend is drum brakes and no limited slip. I am planning to install a Ford 9-inch, but I have not been able to locate a source for the spring, shock, trailing arm and panhard bar brackets I need to make this unit work in the 3rd Gen. Does anyone know where I can obtain these brackets?

New ones? If you can't get them from the dealer then just cut them off an old 10 bolt. How are you planning on installing the torque arm? Changing those mounts over is easy. Trying to figure out how to mount the torque arm isn't worth the headaches. The only way to eliminate it is to go to a 4-link system or ladder bars.
Calculate all the costs to modify a 9" housing then look at the cost of a Currie housing.
