Forgive my ignorance, seeing as I own a fourth gen I should probably know this, but what transmission was the available 5 speed with o/d that came as standard for the '94 3.4l v6? (specifically what number designation ie 4l60e etc was it) I just miss having a clutch underfoot and being able to force the d*** thing to stay in what gear I want it in. if I do complete the swap i plan on getting the skip-shift eliminator from somewhere like SUMMIT or JEGs, so that wont be too much of a concern.






I do feel kinda dumb for not knowing this, I do like to at least consider myself a somewhat knowledgeable person when it comes to cars?...?...

 

The manual transmission was a Borg Warner T-5. This had the Mustang bolt pattern on the case. It's different from the T-5 that was used in the 3rd gen cars. I left one sitting on the ground when I bought the 3.4 that I'm using.

I know exactly what you mean about putting it in the gear that you want instead of whatever gear it feels like being in.
