PLEASE help me identify this rear!!!

Hey guys right now i have a open 2.73 rear and it sucks. I found a rear for sale that the guys say has 3.73s in it. He also stated that someone told him that it might have 4.11s in it. he gave me some numbers off the rear i don't know if they will tell what gear it is or not. could you guys help me out or point me in the right direction.
Here are the numbers or code:22511175n and gm3k.
thanks
Tom

The fool proof way to find out is this. Mark both wheels/drums/whatever. Now mark the driveshaft yoke. Turn the wheels at the same time, counting the number of times the yoke goes around including 1/4 turns. If it turns a little over four times for one full turn of the tires then you do have 4:11's. If it is @3&3/4 turns you have 3.73's and so on.

transfixleo thanks for your help. I would do that if it wasn't over a 100 miles from my house. i can't afford to drive that far and not buy the rear. i am going to ask the man selling it if he can use your method.
thanks

Are those numbers off the center pumpkin? If so, they're not going to help. The numbers you need are on the passenger side's axle tube, facing the "front" of the car. You'll need a wire brush to dig them out of the dirt & rust. The numbers are separated into groups, as in "### # ##### etc" .. you want the first 3-digit code. That's the axle code that tells you the gears & if there was a posi or not.

The axle code only tells you what gears were originally in it, and wont help if they've been changed. The only way to know for sure is transfixleo's method.
