There is a kit to change a 10 to 13 vane pump. Will this work on a 7 vane pump? Thanks.

 

The 10-vane pump is more than enough for any performance application. Changing to a 13-vane pump is a total waste of time, the reason for the 13-vane pump is it runs quieter, it does not flow more oil, in fact the 7-vane pump when set up correctly flows the most!

you can use any amount of vanes you want. 10 is plenty but you need to use the right pump slide springs. get a transgo pump ring kit
