Leaks in Tranny Cooler Lines

I got a new transmission last weekend. I finally got it installed after just about every problem you could think of happened. Anyway, I bought an oil cooler with it and finally managed to get it up into the front ground effect in front of the radiator. I mounted it to the X-shaped crossmembers inside the GFX instead of straight to the radiator, so I have about two inches between the two. My problem is that the lines seem to be leaking at the bottom nipple of the cooler. It takes a second for the lines to pressurize and then I get a pretty good flow from it. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW, If it makes any difference I just ran a short section of line to the stock metal tubing.
