I went to my buddies the other night. Everything went fine. I have the tranny built about 5000 kms ago. B&M tranny kit, with clutches, seals and other stuff. I bought a Summit converter, i went cheap cause i didn't have much coin. But back to the problem, when i went to leave his house, i saw the rpms fly up when it went to shift. No warning. It would stay in gear until i got off the throttle and it would shift very slowly. This would happen through all the gears, and it would'nt even shift to fourth. There is a loud clicking sound comin from the tranny. I heard this noise before, but wasn't as loud now. I drove it tonight just to see if it was a fluke, but 5 minutes into the ride, it started doing it again. It got really bad when it got hot. anyone with any ideas would help out greatly, sorry for the long post but what can i do. My tranny guy said over the phone, that it sounded like the converter granated. Well see. Thanks

 

WIth the car running and the noise present, pull on the TV Cable. IF you hear changes in the noise I would suspect that the pump went to tranny heaven. This is why I use the TransGo Hi Rev Pump Rings. This is and laways has been a weak point in these units.
