Was driving and it was not going into fourth well, adjust tv cable and shifted better, adequate fluid , but was brown. Not red like when I put in. No metal shavings in fluid. Pump pushes abt a quart of fluid in a matter of seconds. So I feel it is a good pump,
After I adjust tv cable, got home and parked it, next day, no reverse at all, in which reverse was hard to find and now I have it even less than I did. What it does is: if put into gear immediately after starting, it will go into drive very well in first second and d no problem, unless it is taken out of gear, then it will be neutral in all gears. Reverse is the same. When it does go forward, it doesn't like to shift, but will shift but at really high rpms. Was told tranny shifted great . And for awhile, it did, cept for the 3-4 shift. Now then, if I start it and let it run even for 4 seconds before putting it in gear, nothing works. It has to he immediately or I get nothing. I do hear a faint sound when it goes Into gear, but never any other sounds. I don't even know where to begin. Thanks for the help, in advance. Chris.

Sounds like it's tore up.
Rebuild time.
Begin by rotating the hardware that holds in the trans, counter-clockwise.
Sometimes that's just the way it goes. Might as well face up to it and confront it head-on.
