t-5 tranny

I am looking for a t-5 tranny for my 84 z-28.If anybody can let me know where I can get one could you let me know. The closer to ont. the better. What is this tranny called tremec all about. Never heard about them so any information would help.

Watch the classified boards, T-5's are listed pretty frequently.
Can't help you much with the Tremec though..
