Where is Kentland at? I'm in Franklin (17 miles south of Indy).

There is a company called Precision (not sure if it's the same company that makes the Vigilante) that has a 2000 stall convertor for around $100. I had one with my 383 that stalled to about 2300 and worked real well. They made my current 2800-3200 Lock Up convertor for $420.

I can try and get you more information if you want. The 2000 stall convertor would work really well with your car depending on what gears you have.

My car is pretty well stock and I put a 2000 stall in it and it is like a new engine in it. It brought the car into the power range and it works very well now. Burns a hell of a lot more gas in the city though HAHAH. Well worth it, it is the most notice able mod I have made.

It's hard to believe you are having trouble getting off the line with 3.73's and a 700r4. First gear (3.06:1) should give you a good launch. Stock or mild converter should work well with that engine.

Matt,

I'll try and find out something on Monday for you.

Newton county? I've never knew there was a Newton county!(guess you learn something new everyday ). How far from Indy are you? What track did you run your times at?

i have a 2600 stall with the mods in my sig. and it works well. with the CFI 350/TH350(non lock up) and 3.23 rear gears i get about 14 mpg highway and about same city.(with the pedal to the metal alot) ive gotten a best of 17mpg on the highway on a 120 mile trip. think how good id get if i had a 700R4 or a T56
