Speedometer Problem
92 Firebird with a 700-R4 trani speedometer not working
changed speedo sensor and checked 10 amp fuse need
suggestion on other solutions.

i would do visual on all the wiring make sure you dont have a short or a open somewhere. did you clean up the connection up at all when you changed out the sensor? Did you just check the amp or did you replace it? did you check the connections at your ecu/ecm/pcm? then lastly i would check out the wiring behing the gauges.

When you changed the speedo sensor (bolted into the tail shaft, right?) did you check to make sure the gear on the output shaft of the tranny was still there? Sometimes that internal one gets chewed up or comes off its stop and then the two speedo gears are not making contact any more.

Replaced speedo with no results, I'll be looking into ECU next. Excuse late reply
