B&M tranny problem, please help
I have a 4L60 tranny from B&M and it only has 7000 mi on it. It shifts very erratically and when you put it in reverse or drive it grinds real bad and there is alot of aluminum shavings in the pan. The oil also get bad quick. It doesn't make noises in neutral though. Somebody please give me an opinion as to what is wrong.

There's a technical term for it, starts with "f" and ends in "up".
Aluminum shavings would have to come from either the stator or the case... if ti was the stator it would do it whenever the engine is running... sounds like some bearing or bushing or thrust washer has retired, allowing something to scrape some part of the case. Not a good situation.
Is there a warranty from B&M?
