Considering New Tranny Setup

Hey, I currently have an 88 Camaro, auto, non-posi 2.73 rear end set up. i would liek to change it to a 3.42 posi rear end if possible. I was browsing Craigslist and I found thiis, Gm factory 7.5 posi unit $125 & Gm factory 7.5 3:42 gears $65. So, what I was wondering is if i could buy those 2 and would it interchange with what i have now? Thanks

Yes, your new tranny will work with those 2.

Ok, so if I purchase both of those, bring them to a shop and they can install it. I'll end up with a new posi 3.42 rear end?
