Torque converter, what to buy
Hi, I have a 1989 GTA bone stock. I just found out that i need a new torque converter. I'm pretty new to this whole replacing parts deal so i was wondering what type of converter to buy. What brand to use and weather or not i need an anti-ballooning plate. i plan on just running the car stock, maybe an exhaust and some cosmetic stuff but noting really power related. any help would be much appreceated.
Thanks

You don't need anti-ballooning plates.
For your combination, a very mild, slightly better than stock converter will do fine. Pick any brand. As a basic stock type replacement, you won't notice much of a difference from brand to brand.
