hot tranny

2 days ago I installed a new ES poly mount and now I noticed that my e-brake handle gets hot (if you put your finger down into the e-brake its burning hot) and that hump in the middle of the backseats gets warm. Whats up with that? Is it that the transmission is just sitting up a little higher than it used to so its transfering the heat more?
