where is the servo on the trans,what does it look like and where can I find one?

It's on the passenger side of the tranny.. big circular cover with a snapring holding it in.
You can find one at any tranny parts dealer or GM dealer. Runs between $15 and $30; comes as two pieces: the piston and the housing.
