t-5 worth rebuilding?
How much would it cost to get a t-5 rebuilt, or should I just buy another camaro 86 Z28 305 5 speed with about 160,xxx on it. Interior is really nice and exterior just got some new parts put on just needs sanded down and primered and painted for about $700 - $800. Even though its multi colored still a very nice car. About 120% better shape then mine is right now.

I am only rebuilding my WC T-5 for a later use on my vega race car and replacing the T-5 with a T-56. If your keeping it stock then why not, its a good transmission and I have been driving on a bad 2nd servo for a year and I beat the hell out of it and it keeps coming for more.

I'd still be driving mine... but when you rip all of the teeth off of third gear and destroy the countershaft... it doesnt like to turn anymore... haha
