I heard that there was a source out there for 3.27 ring and pinion sets for the 9 bolt. I was also told that you guys on this board might know who it is. Does anybody know??

Thanks ,

Tom

I have a set of 3:27 gears from a 9 bolt that came with a 3 series carrier that I purchased. I do not know if they are good or not, never really looked.. I would be willing to part with the gears for cheap if you are interested.

I have a set of 3.27's with only 38,000 miles on them. They originally came out of an 89 TTA. How does 50 bux sound?

I've got a line on 9 bolt gears ranging from 3.2x to 4.1x ratios. Yes, they are 9 bolt gears and yes 4.1x! I will also have new series 3 carriers. I've been working on this for 3 months now and it's almost a done deal. PS There will also be other good stuff available for 9 bolts

Send me an email and I will put you on the mailing list.

Put me on the list as well. Want some 3.7x gears and dont want to give up my left nut. I cant really justify putting $500-$700 in a ring & pinion for this rear not knowing how its going to hold up to my new motor...Ill just save the money and put it toward a 12bolt.

However, if I can get the gears considerably cheaper and I get some actual use out of this rear, it wont bother me too much for it to blow up.
