2nd Accumluator spring broken!!! need help>>

I was installing my shift kit and found it like that

what could have been the cause of this??

and what might the symptoms have been that it might have created????

Prob. a Dealer part I'm shure..... damn!

what do you guys think???

It happens all the time. It will tend to make the 1-2 shift bumpy at different throttle positions.

and I just took another look at the kit and it come's with new one's

I thought they were for the servo or something I was wrong

one last thing

using the full-auto kit would I have to make all thoes mod.s to the seperator plate??? or is that for stick

You have to follow the instructions closely. Yes, there a lot of modifications to the valve body plate. If you goof here it can be big time problems, "follow the instructions closely".

IF you are talking about the TransGo Reprogramming Kit do this. BEFORE you start working on the car again, sit down at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee and a highlighting pen. Go over the sections that apply to you (some you will have to check the VB on to know what to do) so that you don't get mixed up on something. This way you will be able to cruise right through it.

I've rebuilt a couple 700s that had the same spring broken, in the same coil, with the same shaped break.

They're only a couple bucks if one's not in your kit. Should be a purple spring.
