need a quick answer to a simple question (trans removal)
i need to change my flexplate. i'm doing it at home. Because of the torque arm, do i also need to jack the rear of the car up as well as the front? or can i just lift the front and that will be good enough? I just plan on sliding the tranny back far enough in the trans tunnel to get to the flywheel2Crank bolts....tia

It'd probably be easier to jack the rear up to the same height as the front, or else when you try to reinstall the trans you'll have to worry about tilting it and moving it up and forward to mate with the dowel pins. Assuming, of course, that you can even squeeze under there with the rear still on the ground.
