ok, im trying to finish up my t56 swap. It has just been a nitemare, one problem after another. i've now got these issue
my setup is
t56
3gen pedals
1st. i am worried that the clutch isnt fully disengaging, i dont want it to kill my clutch right away ?
2nd. when i install the master cylinder i drilled the hole a 1/2 inch off, so now the bottom 2 bolt holes for the pedals dont line up right. do you think im risking breaking or cracking the firewall, if i dont support the master cylinder with the pedals support ?
3rd. i am using the thirdgen pedals, i heard there might be a problem with the pedals pushing the clutch too far in?

Re: auto to t56 3 issues
If you read the T56 sticky thread you will find out that a high pedal is a common problem when using 3rd gen pedals and 4th gen hydraulics. There is a lot of discussion there about this problem. Read through the thread and you should find your answer to this question there.

did you do that becuz of the high engagement point or because you were worried the clutch wasnt fully disengaging?

Re: auto to t56 3 issues
I used 3rd gen pedals with no problem. The clutch engages near the top of the pedal travel, but it isn't uncomfortable to drive. I also have a SPEC stage III clutch, which I think is thinner than stock and may reduce the pedal height somewhat. All in all I'm really happy with teh swap; best mod I've made to date!
