Does the 91 Toyota Supra tranny manual tranny fit 3rd gens?

I have a line on a transmission from a toyota supra. For some reason I remember hearing that they used the T-56. Is this true and if so can this be moded to fit a GTA?

I won't think so, besides it would never last behind a V8 your nuts, just stick with the bullet proof 700r4.

If it is a T-56 then all you need is a bellhousing to fit the engine. It should work just fine.
