How to disconect the TCC

I head that the Tcc Can make your engine bog down in the summer I am experienceing that and I am wondering if dissconecting the tcc would be safe and where and how do I do it.

Are you planning on only driving the D position from now on? This is NOT a good idea. In fact it is a good way to cook the tranny. If the engine has a problem, fix that instead of adding to the cars woes by taking the tranny with it. JMHO.
