ok i just did the 3.4 swap
and after i changed fluid my 3rd gear decided to go out...i know of a guy that can do a rebuild for about $400 dollars give or take...should i trust this guy? he works does this for a living... OR should i go to a junk yard,,,and get onefrom there? thanks

Get your friend to rebuild yours, a junkyard may sell you a bad one that needs a rebuild too. $400 isn't bad if he does a good job, I've got prices from junkyards from $125 up to $400.
