Just put a Torque Converter in =( HELP!!!!!

Well I got a used T/C, that had under 5 miles on it, he said he drained it all the way, I put it in, started the car, and put 7 quarts in, and you put it in gear and nothing happens, I tried every gear and nothin. I also tried reving it in gear and still nothin!!!!I did not drain all the oil, the only oil that was drained was the from when the Driveshaft came out and the converter. What could this be? yes I did click it in 3 times, and I checked the oil level its fine!!!

Did you install the flexplate to TC bolts?

By "clicking" does this mean you shifted the transmission lever on the tranny?

Maybe the shifter cable got broken in the transplant.

The 27 spline input is catching the splines to the point it is going to round itself off. Pull it out immediately, check the splines closely, they will be slightly rounded clean off the shaft of any metal filings and install the correct torque converter. The reason it took the fluid is that the pump hub on the TC is the same on each. The squealing noise is from the mismatch of splines.
Hope This Helps!!!
