since a 5 speed borg warner is out of the question due to it being weak, i was curious about a 4 speed muncie swap. i will be putting in an engine rated at 330 hp and 380 ft lbs of torque. can i pick up one of these trannys for cheap? how much? would there be any tough spots. there is another guy on here doing one of these but he sound like he is having so more unique problems. thanks

 

if you think 500 dollars or so is cheap then yes you can get a muncie about anywhere for cheap. it's a lot of work going to a mechanical linkage instead of hydrolic.
