Axle/Gears: 373
1991 rs t-5 vss
The dealership has gave me 2 part #'s 10456087 &10456089. I have a 1991 rs 305 tbi that i put a t-5 in, it's cable driven. I need to buy a vss but don't know which one, they will not take it back if they give me the wrong one. Any help would be appreciated

What are the dealership prices? I have an insider at Napa that doesn't think he can get one and it is getting on my nerves.

10456087 is for an t5 manual transmission
10456089 is for an 700 r4 automatic transmission
Final question is what pulse do these work on: 2000 or 4000 and what pulse do you need?
Forget the GM dealer especially if they can't tell you the difference between the two, try rockauto.com $78.79 for the manual one and $49.79 for the auto one, don't forget the discount code to save 5 %.
