This sounds like a stupid drive shaft question ?

I purchased a GM aluminum drive shaft from gmpartsdirect.com, great price thanks for the tip. Anyway my stupid question is the drive shaft is not marked, like I would normaly mark a shaft when taking one off. Does it matter which is the top and bottom on this new drive shaft ? or is there a marking on it that I am not seeing ? Thanks for the help.

i like stupid questions almost as well as silly questions. put the drive shaft in any way you want it shouldn't make any differance at all.
