While I am at it I might as well upgrade to stronger then OEM ones. Only problem is Jegs is no longer selling axels, where can I buy them?

 

Moser is one of the companies. Distributors like DTS (Drive Train Specialists) sell Moser and others axles. Around $225-250 for a pair of higher than oem strength axles.

Aftermarket 28 spline axles to fit all third gens (must use some sort of 28 spline carrier on 82-89's). Why would you want to use 26 spline anyway?
