2nd gear is going out and 3rd is gone. just got a 40K mile 700r4.. already swapped new seals and filter. have the driveline out, the only issue is the drivline brace. we cant undo the nuts on the rear end by the diff. there are no bolt heads just a rubber piece so the bolt and nut just spin together. have any of you encountered such problem?

 

You don't need to undo the torque arm from the rear axle to remove the transmission. You can undo the front end instead. After you've done it a few times, it's actually easier.
