lowering problems, tire wear

After a real close inspection of my front tires they seem to be wearing on the outside more the the inside??? shouldn;t it be the opposite witha lowered car? anyway...this means I am not getting full use of the tire area on the front, is there a way to cure this, I not sure how it was lowered, looks like just springs. I bought it this way and the passenger side ground effect is ~ 7 inches of the ground just in front of the Z, in IROC-Z. Could some one measure their 1987 IROC-Z with a 305 and 5 speed. I would like the know how lowered this car is. If I put in IROC spring back in the front and installed lowering spindals would that solve the problem? I love the look but I don't want to loose performance.

nada a clue, just bought the car and it has a completly blown 305, I just go the new 305 in the motor mounts, and someone on the suspen board told me he had the same problem and that I should check/ buy a new idler arm and get the front end alined. thanks

If you drive it hard, the outside of the tires wear rather quickly.
