engine and vehicle speed for 700R4 gears?

topic is pretty much the question. car has a 3.23 rear end. i was just wondering what the max RPM and MPH for each of the four gears was so i could shift by myself with a little more confidence.

my friend has a freak-hybrid S10 SS-350 with a 700 in it, and he told me his first goes to 45, second to 70 or 80 and didn't say anything about third and up. that's neither here nor there though. thanks for the info guys.

I'd say get a tach if you don't already have a good one, and use that to determine shift points. It's pretty tough to shift accurately using MPH. Just my 2 cents.
