Is a 4L60e better?

I have to rebuild my tranny for the engine Im putting in my car. I was going to rebuild using a Art Carr rebuild kit for up to 750 hp. However Im considering using a 4L60e tranny. What are the benefits of swapping to a 4L60e?

I know one good thing about them that I wish mine has, in Summit they sell a computer type switch that allows you to pick the settings of firmness of the shifts. Much easier than installing a shift kit.

Absolutely no change. I don't understand why everybody thinks a 4L60-E is stronger. Its not. Its basicly an electronicly shifted 700R-4. Most of the parts in a 4L60-E are the same as the 700's.

I've got one. Don't know about the benefits....other than no TV cable. But a MAJOR complication is the need of an additional computer just to control it.

The only benefit is the Sprag Assy and the 3-4 clutch pack. Other than that you will have to invest in a computer to operate it.
