how many axle splines???
how many axle splines on an 89 formula with 2.73 open. i was under the impression that 82-88 was 26 spline with 88 being the transition year and all 89s should have 28 splines but im receiving conflicting information.

pull an axle and count the splines, it took gm several years to use up all the 26 spline.
