Went out racing last night, and on one run, when my car hit second gear, there was a loud thud/pop, and my shifter actually seemed to jump up inside the car. I just had 3.42 gears and a posi put in, and it hooks alot harder than before. I also have a shift kit. Any ideas what's wrong?? It drive fine at every other speed, just at the top of first gear, when its pretty well wrapped. It makes a thunk and almost feels like i have wheel hop or something. Feels like the tranny's almost twisting or something. I'm hoping its maybe a broken mount or something, but don't know. I need all the help I can get, so please reply asap.
