Getting prepared for battle
I had my 700r4 rebuilt 307 miles ago. New motor & tranny and now the forward sprag is out in it. I called the tranny shop just to talk to the owner and right away he was defensive and throwing accusations at me. I told him what it was doing (has R-N-D,2,1, no OD) his response was "yeah" "it's broke". NO S***!!!
Anyways I asked "what could it be, and what should I do?" He stated that the forward sprag was out and that I did it from "launching it". I was very polite when I spoke to him and I told him that I am in the process of breaking in my motor and that I may have pushed the go juice a little but never launched it or even taken it past 3/4 throttle. I just get the feeling that this will escalate to BLAME GAME and I want to be educated on what causes this and how to prevent it from happening again. Please any help would be great!!!

If he won't stand behind his work, then time to get another shop to take it apart, and depending on what they find, you'll know if you had bad luck, or got screwed, or have a good case.
