DIFFERENCES BETWEEN A V6 AND V8 TRANNY

In the case of TH200 AND TH700R4
Are there internal differences between a V6 tranny and a V8 tranny?
Or its just the case ...i guess they are not interchangeable?
The inner Parts are exactly the same or the V6 trannys are weaker?

Between the 200(4R) and 700? VERY little is interchangeable.

Between a 700 V-6 and V-8? If you mean the 2.8 then the case and input drum are different, the rest are the same. The calibraton is also different too due to power and axle ratio differences. The 4.3 will bolt up to a V-8 and is essentially the same.
