89 RS 2.8 which trans do I have?
Just like the title says: I am changing the filter in the trans and the parts store asked me which trans I have. I counted the holes in the pan and I have 16. Any help would be good.
Also should I use cork or rubber, or does it matter? RTV sealant or no?
I have always gotten great advice on here.

If it's an automatic I believe the only option was a TH-700R4 unless someone swapped in something different.

Thats what I thought too. I know in the earlier years, there was a smaller trans available. But I think this is the only option for the v-6 in 89.
