Gear Swap Question
I have an 85 disc rearend with limited slip. The gears in it right now are 3.23, but I would like to change them to 3.42. I have located a 3.42 gear set from an 89 V6 RS and was wondering if I could swap it in. If so, is the process pretty easy? Any info would be appreciated. aTdHvAaNnKcSe

they both should fit your carried. it isn't to hard to change gears but does require working with some small and precise measuremants and using tools most people don't have (2-3 depth mike, 0-1 mike, dial indicator and mag base, dial type in/lbs torque wrench).
