I have a camaro has a v6 in it. i am going to a 305 v8 and i am needing an adapter plate to convert the v6 bellhousing to a v8 bellhousing. Where can i get one of those. Been looking i can't find one. i know they make them just hard to find any info please help. Doing this to save money don'th have money to get a v8 700r4. just want to get a v6 adapter to bolt on.

 

Let me rephrase. not switch the bellhousing its just an adapter is like a spacer so you can hook up the 3.4 transmission to a 305 engine. I need to know who sells them.

I don't think there is an adapter available from the V6 to the V8 application because there isn't a huge demand to put a transmission from an engine with less power behind an engine that creates more power. With the amount of V8 Fbody 700r4 trans out there I would recommend just purchasing a used one. I personally have one for sale but I doubt you want to drive up to Chicagoland to get it.
