Re: Auto to Manual swap help

The T5 is the most cost effective swap. Figure on $1,000 - $1,500 for a trans, bellhousing, pedals, hydraulics, crossmember, TA mount, flywheel, clutch, etc. Get a WC T5 if at all possiboe as they are stronger.

A Tremec 3550, TKO, TK500, or TK600 is also an option. You still need all the T5 stuff, but the trans is a bit more costly. This'll up the cost to more like $2,500-$3,000

A T56 from an LT1 ('93-'97) F-body is also an option. Cost is going to be $2,000-$5,000 depending on how many junkyard parts you reuse. You need a custom crossmember too (SPD and Spohn have them).

The center console is the same between stick and auto, just the shift plate is different. A new stick plate is like $60 from Year One or GM.
