B&M sells a downshift kit to help so that your tranny doesnt downshift into third when in fourth at part throttle? Did anyone buy this and does it work very well and how do you install it? Please somone awnser this BOWTIE 4 life

 

That doesn't always give the desired response. Go with GM #8673948.

 

I just installed the GM kit and I like the results. I even posted the results here in this section(topic). The GM one will still allow a downshift to third at lower speeds but at highway speeds it stays in fourth unless you manually downshift it to third. I actually have 4 gears that I can use whenever I want to!
