I'm putting a 89 TPI 350 in a 57 chevy and I'm using an M21 4 speed.

I need to know if anyone has done this and if so, what flywheel/disc/pressure plate combo did you use??

Part numbers would be a plus, but I can get parts by application if needed.

Thanks in advance.

I would use an '86 to ? 305 flywheel with
153 teeth. I put a starter on an '87 IROC
a while back and it had a large frame and
parallel mounting bolts which would work with
the 153t flywheel. Use a 10.4" clutch disc with splines to match your input shaft and a pressure plate to match the flywheel. The
pressure plate should have a high diaphram
and the matching throwout bearing will be
flat on its face with no margin between the
bearing and the groove for the fork. Use a
bellhousing for 153 tooth flywheel.Because
of the fork angle/ hydraulics isssues I
recommend an earlier non-third gen housing.
Because of the large variations in fork
shapes and lengths, I can't recommend any
specific one, but I think the one from an
'80's Malibu would work fine.
