Which makes the better tranny parts
Which makes the better tranny parts
Which company makes the best all around friction disks for performance and longevity? I have a couple shops around my area and they both carry different brands. One carrys Alto, Borg Warner and sonnax while the other carries Raybestos and Fairbanks, which one is the better parts?
Re: Which makes the better tranny parts
BW, Alto, and Raybestos all make good clutches, and all offer value lines as well. Sonnax and Fairbanks/Superior both make some good up grade parts, don't know if either actually manufacture clutches.

Depends on the trans. For a 700R4 I'd go witht he BWs, as they were designed for use in this trans. For a 350 or 400 I'd use the Altos.
