I want to have my 700r4 rebuilt and would like to supply the rebuilder with the parts myself (bands,clutches,pump,etc) what is a good company to get these parts from? I was thinking level 10. The tranny already has a b&m shift kit so I will leave all of the valve body alone.
Also is the corvette servo a good investment? I want a positive shift not something that will always break the tires loose in between shift.

89 IROC-Z 355 10:1 , AFR 190 heads, LT4 HOT cam w/ 1.6 roller rockers, complete Superram intake, 58mm BBK TB, 24# svo injectors, screens out of MAF, MAT relocated, March underdrive pulleys, Streetdampner, Crane HI-6 ignition, 160 thermostat, K&Ns, TES headers(Jet hot coated), 3" Random Tech cat, Mufflex 4" cat back, B&M shift Kit, 2500 converter, 3.27s, and 4-wheel disc. Chip is custom(doing it myself). 2 1/2 Harwood and just painted.

 

Take a look at my site, as I carry everthing that is needed to do this right including a new "M" 1-2 accumulator to give nice 1-2 part throttle shifts. Look under the rebuild kits for your particular application. I would recommend using the Trans-Go Performance shift kit as it will you to solve some of the problems inherent in the 700R4. This kit gives the 3-4 clutch pack apx. 200-300 more capacity, cleaner 2-3 & 3-2 part throttle & WOT shifts, the ability to hold any gear to any rpm, eliminates the accidental apply of the 3-4 clutches, firmer 4th gear WOT shift, etc. I use the latest Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches & band, along with the latest updates.
