It won't work. Ring and pinion gears are made in sets, even two sets of 3.08's should not have the gears switched from set to set.

The 9 bolt is a 2.77, not a 2.73 ratio and no, they are not interchangable. Ring and pinions are lapped into match sets and should only be used as a matched set.

Currently installing 3.73's into my 9 bolt (YES, it is a 9 bolt & YES they are 3.73's, not 3.70. I currently have 4.10 gear sets and new series 3 carriers in stock for 9 bolts )
